About the opportunity
Join Energy Safe as an Investigations Manager, leading a team of investigators responsible for complex energy safety investigations across Victoria. You'll provide leadership, guidance, and quality oversight while overseeing serious incidents, regulatory non-compliance matters, and investigations that may lead to enforcement action, prosecution, or licensing disciplinary outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to influence safety outcomes, lead high-profile investigations, and support a safety-first regulatory approach.
What you'll contribute
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of investigators, fostering capability, wellbeing and excellence in investigative practice.
- Oversee the prioritisation and delivery of complex investigations, ensuring resources are focused on matters of highest risk and regulatory impact.
- Provide leadership during serious incident responses, including investigation coordination and operational decision-making.
- Lead sensitive or high-profile investigations and ensure robust, evidence-based outcomes.
- Drive quality, governance and compliance across all investigation activities in line with Energy Safe's Investigations Framework.
- Build strong partnerships with technical experts, legal advisers, regulators and external agencies to support effective regulatory outcomes.
- Monitor investigation performance, identify emerging risks, and provide strategic advice and reporting to senior stakeholders.
