About the Role
LinkCare Services is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and support the development of our proprietary WeAIT Smart Care Platform.
WeAIT is being developed to support the new Support at Home (SAH) program and related aged care operations, including back-office workflow management, compliance, finance, reporting, client applications, associated provider operations, health monitoring integration and other smart care functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain the WeAIT Smart Care Platform.
- Build and enhance modules for SAH operations, compliance, finance, reporting and client management.
- Develop client-facing application functions and internal workflow tools.
- Design scalable database structures, APIs and system integrations.
- Support integration with health monitoring devices and third-party service providers.
- Develop functions for associated provider operations and compliance management.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise system performance.
- Maintain technical documentation and software development records.
- Ensure software quality, privacy, security and reliability standards are met.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Experience in full-stack web application development.
- Strong experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C# or similar.
- Experience with SQL databases, API development and system integration.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple development priorities.
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability or care management systems.
- Experience with AI, automation, health monitoring or digital platform development.
- Understanding of Support at Home, aged care compliance and claiming systems.
- Understanding of NDIS compliance and claiming systems.
- Mandarin or Cantonese speaking ability is madatory.
