About the Role
As our primary Bar Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the venue.
You'll generally work independently during weekdays, with additional casual staff support during peak weekend periods.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the venue
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Building strong relationships with regular patrons
- Managing stock control and ordering
- Creating and managing staff rosters
- Maintaining venue presentation and standards
- Cash handling and daily reconciliation
- Driving venue performance and revenue opportunities
- General bar operations and hands-on service
- Working weekend evening shifts as part of the role
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous bar management or senior hospitality experience
- Is confident running a venue independently
- Has a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
- Is highly organised and reliable
- Has a strong personality and enjoys engaging with customers
- Understands stock management and rostering
- Takes pride in owning outcomes and improving performance
- Is available to work weekend night shifts
- Wants to become part of the local community, not just work behind the bar
