Chef / Head Chef Wanted – Korean & Japanese Cuisine
We are looking for a full-time Chef / Head Chef to join our restaurant team.
Position: Chef / Head Chef
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
Working Days: 5 days per week
Requirements:
- Trade qualification in commercial cookery
- Minimum 2~3 years of culinary experience in Korean and Japanese cuisine
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Valid Australian work right for full-time employment
Main Duties:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Developing and maintaining menu items in line with our restaurant's style and customer expectations
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Managing stock control, ordering, and kitchen cost efficiency
- Supervising and training kitchen stafMaintain food quality and consistency
