Position Summary
Westside Meat Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Human Resource Clerk to support workforce rostering, personnel administration and the maintenance of accurate employment, attendance, leave, training and qualification records. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the HR Manager and assist with workforce coordination across Westside's shift-based meat-processing operations.
Key Duties
· Create, update and distribute employee rosters.
· Coordinate approved shift changes and replacement workers.
· Maintain employee personnel and employment records.
· Record attendance, absences, leave and changes to employment details.
· Process employee commencement, onboarding and termination documentation.
· Maintain induction, training, qualification and licence records.
· Monitor the expiry of relevant licences, qualifications and compulsory training.
· Maintain employee salary, superannuation and taxation information where required.
· Provide accurate timesheet, attendance and leave information to payroll personnel.
· Assist with recruitment administration, interview scheduling and candidate records.
· Prepare workforce, attendance, leave and roster reports.
· Respond to routine employee administrative enquiries.
· Maintain accurate records for Australian employees and temporary visa holders.
· Protect the confidentiality and security of employee information.
· Comply with workplace law, privacy obligations and company human-resources procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
· A relevant AQF Certificate II or III, or an equivalent qualification; or at least one year of relevant human-resources, rostering or workforce-administration experience.
· Experience maintaining personnel, attendance, leave or training records.
· Experience using HR, payroll, rostering or time-and-attendance systems.
· Strong organisational and recordkeeping skills.
· The ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· The ability to coordinate workforce requirements in a shift-based environment.
· Experience in meat processing, food production, manufacturing or another large operational workforce is desirable.
