Your new role:
As a Provisional Fellow (General) in Anaesthetics, you'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality anaesthetic care across a diverse range of specialties while further developing the skills and confidence needed for independent specialist practice, by:
Providing safe, high-quality anaesthetic care across a broad range of surgical specialties including obstetrics, paediatrics, trauma, ENT, orthopaedics, general surgery and regional anaesthesia.
Participating in perioperative medicine, clinical audits, research and quality improvement activities.
Progressively taking on consultant-level responsibilities under supervision, including registrar supervision and duty anaesthetist responsibilities.
Contributing to teaching, education and the development of junior medical staff.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centred care.
About you:
You're a motivated and collaborative anaesthetic trainee who is committed to ongoing professional development and delivering excellent patient care, with:
Current registration with AHPRA and registration as an ANZCA trainee.
Eligibility for Provisional Fellowship with ANZCA at commencement (or eligibility to transition during the appointment).
Strong clinical knowledge and sound decision-making skills in anaesthesia.
Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous learning, patient safety and quality improvement.
The ability to work effectively in a busy and diverse clinical environment.
