Ray's Florist & Gifts are seeking a high-energy, positive, fast-working and reliable experienced Florist to join our team on a casual basis.
*Must be available for up to 38 hours per week. Hours may vary based on workload and seasonal demand.
About us:
Established since 1960, Ray’s Florist & Gifts handle all aspects of floristry, specialising in Funeral work. We are located in Silverwater and recognised in the community for our reliability, quality of product, and outstanding customer service.
Funeral experience preferred but not necessary.
We require someone who is a fast-learner and has an excellent can-do attitude with high-energy.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Ensure the workshop is clean and tidy
- Create floral arrangements as per work order
- Oversee inventory and stock availability
- Support Senior florists as required
- Tend to phone calls and walk-in customers
- Adhere to procedures and costings
Experience & attributes:
- Prior experience within the floristry industry
- Must be a High-energy person
- Reliable punctuality
- Prior experience working with funeral floral arrangements or willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, up-beat manner with visitors & customers
