We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences for children.
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children feel valued, supported and inspired to learn.
You will contribute to the planning and implementation of educational programs that reflect the principles and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), while building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and their families.
- Plan and implement engaging learning experiences that support children's development and interests.
- Observe, document and contribute to assessments of children's learning and development.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to provide high-quality care and education.
- Support children's wellbeing, learning and development through positive interactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive team culture and continuous improvement within the service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and providing high-quality care for children.
