At Better Health Network (BHN), we're committed to making healthcare accessible for everyone. We're looking for a GP Services Coordinator, helping ensure people who face barriers to healthcare can access the care they need.

About the role
We deliver GP services at South Melbourne and, in partnership with The Salvation Army (TSA), at Access Health in St Kilda. Both practices provide fully bulk-billed primary healthcare and play an important role in supporting people who face barriers to accessing mainstream health services.
As GP Services Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our GP services, supporting clinicians, coordinating rosters and workforce administration, improving systems and processes, and helping deliver an outstanding patient experience.
About you
You're an experienced practice administration or coordination professional who understands how general practice operates and enjoys keeping services running smoothly.
You may have worked as a:
- Practice Manager
- Assistant Practice Manager
- Senior Medical Receptionist
- GP Clinic Coordinator
- Similar primary care administration role
You'll also bring:
- Experience in general practice, primary care or community health
- Knowledge of Medicare billing and claiming processes
- Experience with practice software such as Best Practice and/or Medical Director
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A commitment to person-centred, inclusive and culturally safe care, and to improving health equity for vulnerable communities.
