Support Worker - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY-9:00AM-4:00PM
Assigned Guardian Angel is currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Support Worker to support a young female participant within the community and home environment.
About the Role
This role involves:
- Assisting with personal care, including showering and daily living support
- Experience in Manual Handling and comfortable with FEMALE personal care is desirable
- Using sara stedy Confidently
- Supporting community access and social engagement
- Building positive rapport and encouraging interaction
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence and participation in activities
Shift Availability
- Monday-Wednesday and Friday - 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Opportunity for additional shifts in the future
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, patient, engaging and encouraging with participants
- Comfortable providing personal care and shower assistance when needed
- Able to communicate clearly and build strong rapport with young participants and family if applicable
- Reliable, professional, supportive with participants
- Passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Full Driver’s License and reliable vehicle preferred
- Experience as a support worker is preferred
