We are looking for an Production Engineer to join our team here at APR Engineering!
The Role

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting product manufacturing control in accordance with Australian Standards (including AS/NZS 1546.1) and internal quality requirements, technical specifications, job descriptions, drawings.
- Performing routine quality audits across manufacturing processes, inspection records and manufacturing documentation.
- Inspecting incoming raw materials using AQL sampling methods and approving materials for production. Preparation all resources (materials and tools) for jobs to be manufactured.
- Conducting inspections to identify and prevent quality issues before products reach customers.
- Identifying and managing non-conforming materials and products.
- assure that the team executes manufacturing processes as per approved documents.
- assure quality control in all manufacturing stages of the company.
Skills and Experience:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication or related field is highly preferred, e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Proven 3 years minimum experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing and production environment.
- Experience conducting quality inspections, audits or interpreting product specifications
- Be flexible, a quick thinker and able to prioritise tasks extremely well
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to initiate and recommend process improvements within the team.
