Operations Manager – Commercial Cleaning (Melbourne)
Are you an experienced cleaning operations leader who can run multiple sites, lead teams and keep quality consistently high? Speckless Facility Services is a fast-growing, ISO-certified commercial cleaning company, and we're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead the delivery of our services across Melbourne.

The role
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll own the day-to-day running of our cleaning operations — making sure every site is properly staffed, every client is happy, and every job is done to standard, safely and on time.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across all client sites, ensuring services are delivered to standard and on schedule
- Roster, schedule and coordinate cleaners, supervisors and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Recruit, onboard, train and manage cleaning staff and contractors
- Run regular site inspections and quality audits, and act quickly on any issues
- Manage client relationships and resolve service escalations and complaints professionally
- Mobilise new contracts — set up sites, equipment, consumables and schedules
- Attend site inspections for quoting and support the business development team
- Manage stock, equipment and consumables, and keep labour costs on budget
- Ensure full WHS/OHS compliance on every site (SWMS, safe work practices, incident reporting)
- Report to the General Manager on performance, staffing and site quality
What you'll bring
- Experience managing commercial cleaning operations in Australia (essential)
- Proven team leadership and people-management skills
- Strong rostering, scheduling and coordination ability across multiple sites
- Solid knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, equipment and WHS requirements
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving — you stay calm and fix things fast
- Confident communicator who can manage both staff and clients
- Valid Australian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (this is a field-based role)
- A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Comfortable with scheduling apps and CRM/reporting tools
Nice to have
Experience in facilities management, familiarity with ISO-certified quality systems, and knowledge of Melbourne's commercial property landscape.

Pay: $79,907.08 – $161,347.86 per year
