Shadforth have an opportunity for an experienced
Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join our workshop on the
Sunshine Coast. Works will involve maintenance and repair on our fleet of over 600 heavy earth moving machinery, bucket rebuilds and general fabrications.
As part of our team your key responsibilities will be:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on heavy earth moving equipment
- Bucket repairs and rebuild and general fabrications
- Fabrication of parts and heavy earth moving machinery repairs and refurbishment
- Fabrication in-house spare parts for stock
- Ensuring safety and compliance regulations and company standards
This is a full-time permanent position, working hours will be Monday – Thursday from 06:30am to 4:30pm, Fridays from 06:30am to 4:00pm and Saturdays optional.
About you:
- Australian recognised trade qualification Certificate III in Engineering/Metal Fabrication Boiler Maker welder
- Heavy Fabrication, bucket manufacture and repairs within earth moving industry (Essential)
- Aluminium MIG and TIG experience
- Current manual Drivers licence (HR Licence - advantageous)
- Construction Industry White / Blue Card
- Current High-Risk Forklift licence with demonstrated experience
- Strongly committed to Workplace Health & Safety
- Excellent trouble shooting and problems solving skills
- Reliable, self-motivated with good time management skills with excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team
- Mobile Crane (C2), Dogging or Rigging (Highly regarded, but not essential)
