Holt Farming are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our sweet potato farm in Bundaberg. This role may involve a mix of outdoor farm work and indoor duties within our packing shed.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with hours and availability for weekend work
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
- A current forklift LF License
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safe work practices
- Proven forklift operating experience, including loading / unloading trucks, stacking bins and operating in confined spaces
- Ability to conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
- Competence in handling produce carefully to minimise damage
- Ability to follow instructions from the Farm Manager, Packing Shed Manager and Director
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report issues
- Experience working in agriculture or a packing shed (highly regarded but not essential)
