About us
MFLC Logistics is a Melbourne based transport and delivery operator servicing food manufacturing customers across metro Melbourne and interstate. Our drivers are the face of our business, so we are looking for someone reliable behind the wheel and confident dealing with people.
The role
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm (30-38 hours per week, no weekends, no nights)
- Multi drop metro Melbourne runs from our Campbellfield depot
- Communicating with the office throughout the day on delays, failed deliveries and run changes
- Dealing directly with customers at drop off, answering questions and resolving issues on the spot
- Loading and unloading your own van, with manual handling of 5-15 kg items
- Completing PODs, scanning and run sheets via our driver app
- Keeping the vehicle clean, safe and roadworthy, and reporting faults straight away
What we're after
- Strong communication skills are essential. Clear spoken English, comfortable talking to customers face to face and on the phone, and quick to let the office know when something changes on the run
- Someone who raises problems early rather than leaving them to be discovered
- Current full Victorian driver licence with a clean record
- Experience driving a 2 Tonne van or similar
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting
- Good navigation skills and knowledge of Melbourne metro routes
- Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised
- Right to work in Australia
Nice to have
- Previous multi drop or courier experience
- Forklift licence
- Experience with Detrack, TransVirtual or similar delivery apps
- Food safety awareness for Frozen Deliveries

Pay: $26.44 – $42.71 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
