Mandair Transport Solutions Pty ltd is located in heart of South Australia mostly to interact with Truck, Automotive or heavy/light commercial vehicles including Schedule service, preventative maintenance, Minor to Major service, maintenance plan, capped price service and structural modifications.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Minimum Certificate III, IV and Diploma( preferable) in Automotive (Light/Heavy Vehicle)
- Qualified and experience as an automotive mechanic (1 years minimum)
- Diagnostic experience
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Good attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Current full Drivers’ License
- Automotive Air Conditioning License holders preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner
- Road test vehicles when required
- Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance needs in a friendly and clear manner.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate
- Reports machine defects and malfunctions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry
- Ensure that workspace is kept clean, and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly
- Monday to Friday plus 1 on 1 off Saturday mornings
