Capability Solutions Manager | Permanent | Jandakot and Perth offices
As Capability Solutions Manager our you'll be responsible for ensuring our Network workforce has the skills, qualifications and capabilities needed to operate safely, compliantly and effectively, both today and into the future. This is a unique opportunity to influence workforce capability at scale, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in supporting operational excellence and business transformation across a complex and essential industry.
This role will be primarily based at our Jandakot location, with some days working from our Perth CBD office when required.
Your Role in Action
Lead the People Capability Strategy and capability portfolio to support current and future workforce needs.
Design and continuously improve capability, training and competency solutions across the Network workforce.
Identify skills gaps and implement targeted learning initiatives to build workforce capability.
Establish best-practice standards for training design, delivery and assessment.
Oversee RTO, compliance and competency management requirements to meet regulatory standards.
Manage capability operations, including budgets, vendors, risk management and quality assurance.
Use capability data and reporting to support compliance, workforce planning and business decision-making.
Lead and develop a high-performing team while partnering with senior leaders to enhance capability outcomes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You'll be a strategic and commercially minded leader with a passion for workforce development and capability building. To be successful, you'll bring:
Experience leading workforce capability, learning, training or organisational development functions.
Experience working within a complex, operational or highly regulated environment.
Strong understanding of competency management, workforce capability frameworks and training compliance requirements.
Knowledge of RTO frameworks and contemporary learning practices.
Experience using learning management systems and workforce capability reporting tools.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
The ability to translate strategy into practical, measurable outcomes that balance business needs, compliance requirements and return on investment.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing external partnerships and auspicing arrangements.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
Experience translating strategy into outcomes while balancing ROI, compliance, risk and business priorities.
