This hands-on role is primarily focused on maintaining the shire's parks, gardens, and public open spaces through mowing, vegetation management and general maintenance, while also providing support to council's maintenance and construction crews when required.

Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
Construction White Card.
Traffic management accreditation.
Plant competencies for tractors, loaders, skid steers, rollers or backhoes.
Experience in road maintenance or civil construction.
Experience working in a team environment and following instructions from supervisors.
Experience across either construction, farming, parks and gardens, signage and line marking maintenance
Ability to perform physical labouring tasks in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
