For more than 20 years, VS Eyewear has been designing and distributing eyewear to independent optometry practices across Australia.
Founded in 2002 by brothers John and Mark Van Staveren, VS Eyewear is an Australian family-owned business built on generations of experience in the optical industry. Today, from our Carrum Downs headquarters, we design and distribute four private-label eyewear brands, working closely with optometry practices, suppliers and industry partners across the country.
We’re now looking for a customer focused individual to join our small team in a varied role that sits at the heart of our day-to-day operations.
Combining customer service, administration, stock, dispatch and social media support, you’ll help make sure our customers are well looked after, and our products get where they need to go.
What your week will look like
This is an all-rounder role for someone who likes variety and takes satisfaction in keeping things organised and moving.
You’ll be responsible for:

Providing friendly, professional customer service via phone and email

Processing and coordinating customer orders and product dispatch

Supporting stock and inventory coordination

Maintaining accurate records, product information and administration

Contributing to social media and content activity when required

Supporting the wider VS Eyewear team across the day-to-day needs of the business
What will help you succeed
You don’t need to come from the optical industry, but you do need to be someone who enjoys helping customers and can confidently keep track of the details.
You’ll bring:

Confidence using computers and learning new systems

The ability to manage competing priorities

Previous experience with dispatch, orders, stock or logistics

A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to help where needed

A consistent four-day working week, Tuesday to Friday

A salary of $70,000 FTE, pro rata
