Job Description
Due to internal promotions, Ramsay Health Care is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer to lead North West Private Hospital and Caboolture Private Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to lead two highly regarded private hospitals supporting healthcare delivery across Brisbane’s north and one of Queensland’s fastest-growing regions. Reporting to the Queensland State Operations Manager and supported by experienced Directors of Clinical Services and Finance, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, build strong partnerships with VMOs, clinicians, employees, and the community, and drive growth, performance, and exceptional patient outcomes. As CEO, you will bring strategic vision, commercial capability, and a passion for building high-performing teams aligned to Ramsay’s purpose of “People Caring for People.”
What You'll Do
As CEO, you will lead the strategic direction and operational performance of both hospitals while fostering a culture centred on clinical excellence, innovation and exceptional patient care.
Key responsibilities include:

Develop and deliver the strategic vision for both hospitals.

Lead operational, financial and clinical performance across the network.

Build strong partnerships with VMOs, clinicians, employees and community stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to expand services and support sustainable growth.

Drive financial performance through sound commercial leadership and operational excellence.

Lead and develop high-performing executive and leadership teams.

Champion quality, safety, governance and continuous improvement.

Foster a positive culture aligned to Ramsay's values and purpose.

Work collaboratively with Ramsay's executive leadership to deliver strategic priorities and network initiatives.
What You'll Bring
You are an accomplished healthcare executive who combines strategic vision with authentic leadership and strong commercial capability.
You will bring:

Significant senior executive leadership experience within hospitals or complex healthcare environments.

Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and deliver exceptional operational and financial performance.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, growth initiatives and service development.

Demonstrated success leading organisational change and continuous improvement.

Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with VMOs, clinicians and community partners.

Exceptional communication, leadership and influencing capabilities.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Health or a related discipline.
