About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. Working as part of our housekeeping department, you will play a key role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas
- Make beds and replenish linen, towels, and guest amenities
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and other guest facilities
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitise rooms to hotel standards
- Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly
- Ensure housekeeping equipment is used and stored correctly
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests when required
About You
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred
- Hotel or accommodation experience will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Understanding of hygiene standards and safe work practices
- Available to work a flexible roster across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
