As our People Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient and effective delivery of people administration services across Anglicare Sydney. This is a casual opportunity working 2 days per week, ideal for someone seeking flexibility while building their experience in Human Resources.
Your Opportunity
Reporting to the People Admin Team Leader, you will provide high‑quality HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate data, strong probity compliance and excellent customer service to stakeholders across the organisation.
Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, line managers and external providers, you will help ensure our people processes run smoothly and consistently, supporting both compliance and positive employee experiences.
With integrity and collaboration, you will:
Deliver end‑to‑end people administration, including contracts, variations, employee changes, filing and record keeping
Respond to people enquiries with a strong customer service mindset, escalating where appropriate
Support probity compliance activities, including police checks and key personnel requirements
Maintain accurate employee data within Workday
Assist with invoice processing and administrative reporting
Coordinate student placements and traineeships, including compliance checks and stakeholder liaison
Contribute to continuous improvement through process documentation and feedback
What you’ll bring
You are a highly organised and detail‑oriented administrator who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment. You take pride in accuracy, professionalism and delivering timely outcomes, while building positive working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
You will also need:
Previous administration experience, ideally within Human Resources, recruitment or employee services.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Understanding of HR processes, employment basics and confidentiality requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ideally, you will also have:
Confidence using HR systems and digital tools (experience with Workday highly regarded)
A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn.
