About the role
This is a hands-on role in a busy, fast-paced coffee shop. You’ll be working across coffee, customer service, food preparation and general store duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality coffee to Coffee Cove standards
- Providing friendly and genuine customer service
- Basic food preparation
- Working efficiently during busy periods
- Helping create a fun, friendly and positive work environment
- Maintaining Coffee Cove standards
- Keeping the store clean, organised and presented to a high standard
- Working as part of a team and helping your teammates when needed
What we're looking forThese are a MUST:
- Minimum 5 years’ barista experience
- Strong coffee-making skills and confidence during busy periods
- Availability for early starts from 5am
- Availability to work weekends
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Great work ethic — reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in
- Honest and respectful
- Fun, friendly and kind personality
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people
Please note: This is NOT a junior position. We are looking for an experienced barista with at least 5 years’ experience who can confidently hit the ground running.
