About the role:
We are seeking a committed and hands-on experienced within the hospitality industry to undertake the role of a Club Attendant. The Relief Club Supervisor role is to cover leave from time to time at our St Johns Park location.
This role requires flexibility and availability to work between Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities - Club Attendant:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service to our members and guests;
- Working as a bar attendant ensuring effective replenishment of beverage products;
- Working as a TAB/Keno Operator
- Cash handling duties;
- Poker machine maintenance and drink service and resolving Gaming Floor enquiries
- Assist with Club membership enquiries
- Maintaining floor cleanliness including table clearing, glass and plate collection and;
- General cleaning duties.
Upon successfully demonstrating the required skills and responsibility of the Club Attendant, this role will be considered towards development for Relief Supervisor to cover Supervisors’ leave from time to time.
This role is suited to someone with experience in hospitality who is ready to take the next step into a supervisor role. You will work closely with your team and be given the opportunity to train, coordinate and supervise in line with best practice, legislative compliance, work health & safety.
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
- A positive, approachable and welcoming personality with a genuine interest in providing great service.
- At least 1 year experience in hospitality
- Experience in hospitality in Beverage, Catering and/or gaming
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills towards a supervisor role.
