Make an impact at Serco
As an IT Support Officer – Modern Workplace, you’ll provide first and second level IT support across the Serco business, helping our people stay connected and productive. You’ll support our Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange, while working closely with the End User Computing team across Intune and SCCM. This is an on-site role, with three days per week based at Acacia Prison and two days per week at our Belmont office. You’ll join a collaborative technology environment where responsive customer service, problem-solving and continuous improvement are valued.
As an IT Support Officer – Modern Workplace in the Technology team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

Providing responsive first and second level support for customer enquiries and incidents
-
Managing incidents and service requests from initial logging through to resolution
-
Supporting Microsoft 365 and end-user computing environments, including Intune and SCCM
-
Monitoring systems, security and capacity, escalating priority issues when required

Managing user and group accounts and maintaining the standard operating environment
-
Contributing to system documentation and small to medium ICT projects

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace, including Intune, SCCM, OneDrive, SharePoint and Azure

Experience with application packaging in SCCM and Intune, including Win32 apps

Knowledge of Group Policy, Windows scripting, PCs and peripheral technologies

A relevant degree or diploma, or an IT qualification supported by relevant experience
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
-
The ability to work collaboratively while confidently managing your own priorities
