What your day could look like
As Manager Workplace Relations, you'll help create a workplace where people feel supported, respected and empowered to perform at their best. You'll provide workplace relations leadership, support leaders through complex matters and contribute to positive organisational outcomes. Every day, you'll:
Lead complex workplace and employee matters, delivering fair, practical and timely outcomes
Partner with leaders to strengthen capability, support decision-making and foster a positive culture
Lead a team of specialists, ensuring high-quality advice, case management and continuous improvement
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for the People and Culture Division and broader Health Service
Represent the organisation in workforce matters and build effective stakeholder relationships
Let's Talk About You
You're an experienced workplace relations leader with sound judgement and a people-focused approach. You build trusted relationships and confidently manage complex and sensitive issues. To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
Strong expertise in workplace relations, industrial relations and employee matters
Proven experience and a passion for leading and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Well-developed problem-solving, decision-making and risk management capability
Relevant qualifications and/or professional membership in human resources, employment relations or a related discipline will be highly regarded. Most importantly, you'll demonstrate compassion, integrity, innovation and courage while creating positive outcomes for people, teams and the community.
