Occupational Therapist (OT) – NDIS Subcontractor | Immediate Caseload
RIGHTWAY CARE PTY LTD – Registered NDIS Provider
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with us on a subcontractor basis.
We currently have 2–3 NDIS participants under 25 years of age who require Occupational Therapy assessments, with potential for ongoing referrals as our participant caseload grows.
Initial Work
- Complete Occupational Therapy assessments for NDIS participants.
- Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) where appropriate.
- Prepare professional NDIS reports and recommendations.
- Identify participant needs, functional goals and appropriate supports.
- Liaise with participants, families/support coordinators and other professionals as required.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
- ABN and ability to work as an independent contractor.
- Good understanding of NDIS requirements and documentation.
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
- Experience working with children, teenagers or young adults is preferred.

Experience with:
- Autism and developmental disabilities
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- NDIS therapeutic supports
- Assistive Technology assessments
- Working with families and multidisciplinary teams

Casual Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team on a casual basis. The role involves working with NDIS participants to enhance independence, functional skills, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and therapy to support participants’ daily living, mobility, and functional skills
- Develop and implement individual therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with NDIS requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Experience working with NDIS participants (desirable)
