Café Green Bay is looking for a reliable Kitchen All-Rounder / Food Prep Assistant to join our small takeaway-focused café in Darlinghurst / Rushcutters Bay.
We are a busy daytime café serving takeaway Japanese food, lunch boxes, drinks and simple café items. This role is suitable for someone who is organised, responsible and willing to help with food preparation and general kitchen support.
Experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person.
Main Duties
- Preparing vegetables and ingredients
- Food preparation
- Preparing takeaway rolls & Japanese food boxes
- Packing takeaway orders
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
Trading Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
Available Shifts
- 7:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday
Shift times can be discussed.
Pay
- Award wage / legal minimum wage or above
Requirements
- Reliable, responsible and punctual
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work in a small, busy takeaway environment
- Japanese food experience preferred
- Long-term availability preferred
- Basic English is helpful
Pay: $25.74 – $30.00 per hour
