- Seeking a Water Treatment engineer for a 'Field' role
- A varied role combining planned, unplanned & project installation
- On the road, covering a wide range of customer sites, plenty of ytime.
Based out of Brisbane, this role focuses on the maintenance and upgrade of existing Water Treatment Plants at municipal (government) and industrial sites. You’ll be on the road - visiting a variety of sites throughout Queensland; from cities and towns and remote regional locations too!
- Install, service, repair and upgrade water treatment systems, including filtration systems, disinfection equipment, pumps, valves, and other components.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks, inspections, and performance tests on water treatment systems to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs, provide technical advice, and offer recommendations for improving system performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment maintenance logs, service reports, and client communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide informed technical support and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Embrace and champion safety on-site to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.

SUCCESS PROFILE:
- Proven experience as a Service Technician, preferably in the water industry or a similar field
- Chorine gas experience (highly sought after)
- Strong knowledge of drinking water treatment systems, including various filtration methods, disinfection techniques, and water quality parameters is also desirable but not essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a natural ability to troubleshoot.
- Exceptional customer focus and communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Valid driver's license
