Purpose of the Role
The Leak Injection Technician is responsible for carrying out on-site leak injection and remedial waterproofing works, primarily using a 2-component acrylic injection pump system. The role delivers hands-on repair work to a high standard, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Keelson's quality and warranty standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out leak injection works using 2-component acrylic injection pump equipment, following job scope and method as directed Prepare injection points, mix and inject materials to the required specification Carry out associated remedial waterproofing tasks as required (e.g. crack sealing, grouting, minor block-up work) Maintain and care for injection equipment, reporting any faults or servicing needs promptly Follow all site safety requirements and Keelson's WHS procedures Take before/during/after site photos and provide job notes to support completion reporting Communicate professionally with site supervisors, builders, and clients on site Work collaboratively with other trades and subcontractors on shared sites Accurately track time and materials used per job
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Solid construction industry experience Sound understanding of site safety practices and WHS requirements Physically capable of working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varied site conditions Current driver's licence Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on site Good communication skills with clients, builders, and site staff
Desirable
- Experience with leak injection, crack injection, or waterproofing works Experience using a 2-component acrylic injection pump system White Card (Construction Induction) Experience working on commercial construction sites
Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
