Job Type: Casual – Available between 6am – 6pm Monday to Friday.

Job Description:
As a Doggy Daycare Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our daycare, ensuring that all dogs receive the attention, care, and socialization they need. You will be managing a team of daycare attendants, coordinating activities, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Your role is key in maintaining a fun, clean, and safe environment for our furry guests.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the daycare facility.
- Ensure all dogs are safe, comfortable, and engaged during their stay.
- Monitor dog behaviour and address any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Lead and manage a team of daycare attendants, providing guidance and training when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare area, ensuring hygiene and safety protocols are followed.
- Assist with dog assessments and behaviour evaluations.
- Communicate with pet owners, providing updates on their pets and addressing any concerns.
- Organise and create fun, safe enrichment activities for the dogs.
- Create advertising using Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
- Foster a positive and friendly environment for both dogs and clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with dogs, preferably in a daycare, kennel, veterinary or dog training environment.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of dog behaviour and basic training techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Excellent aptitude in technology and proficient in all MS Office products, Word, Outlook, Excel plus other software.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Passion for animals and providing the best care possible.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of pet health, safety protocols, and first aid is a plus.
