SALES MANAGER
FalkStar Garage Door Insulation

ABOUT FALKSTAR
FalkStar is Melbourne’s longest-running dedicated garage door insulation company and one of Australia’s most recognised businesses in this specialised industry.
We have helped approximately 10,000 customers, earned more than 570 five-star Google reviews and built a strong reputation for premium products, professional workmanship and exceptional customer service.
As FalkStar continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, driven and hands-on Sales Manager to lead our sales operation and help take the business into its next stage of growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a position for someone who only wants to manage from the sidelines.
The successful candidate will actively sell, follow up enquiries, close bookings and lead by example while managing the performance of our existing remote sales and administration team.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and take ownership of the entire sales pipeline, including lead response, follow-up, quoting, closing, CRM accuracy, team accountability and revenue performance.
Your job is to make sure every lead is handled properly, every opportunity is followed up and the sales team consistently meets FalkStar’s standards and targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach and manage FalkStar’s sales and administration team
- Personally respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and close sales
- Allocate leads and ensure every opportunity has a clear owner
- Monitor calls, messages, quotations and customer follow-up
- Ensure new leads are contacted promptly and professionally
- Prevent leads from becoming stale, forgotten or unassigned
- Develop and implement effective follow-up and reactivation strategies
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
- Monitor individual and team performance
- Conduct regular sales meetings and coaching sessions
- Review sales conversations and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate records within HighLevel or other CRM systems
- Ensure customer details, opportunity values, notes and pipeline stages are correct
- Check that quotations use current approved products and pricing
- Ensure bookings are complete and accurately handed over to the installation team
- Identify recurring errors and provide additional training where required
- Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports for the Managing Director
- Maintain high customer-service standards throughout the sales process
- Handle escalated sales enquiries and customer concerns professionally
- Help develop sales scripts, processes and performance standards
- Work closely with management to improve conversion rates and revenue
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced sales professional who combines strong closing ability with leadership, organisation and accountability.
You do not wait to be told about every problem. You identify issues, take ownership and follow them through to completion.
You understand that a Sales Manager must lead from the front, maintain standards and hold people accountable while still supporting and developing the team.
To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in sales management, team leadership or a senior sales role
- A strong record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience coaching and holding salespeople accountable
- Confidence managing a remote or distributed team
- Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong closing, negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Experience using a CRM and managing a sales pipeline
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to monitor performance and make evidence-based decisions
- Confidence working directly with a hands-on Managing Director
- A proactive attitude and strong personal accountability
- High standards of honesty, professionalism and customer service
Experience using HighLevel is highly regarded but not essential. Training in FalkStar’s products, systems and services will be provided.
Experience in home improvements, trades, construction, garage doors or appointment-based service businesses would also be advantageous.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Your performance will be measured against:
- Monthly sales and collected-revenue targets
- Lead response times
- Quote-to-booking conversion rates
- Follow-up completion
- Number of stale or unassigned opportunities
- CRM and data-entry accuracy
- Quotation and booking accuracy
- Individual and team performance
- Customer experience and communication standards
- Compliance with FalkStar’s sales procedures
