In this role, you'll:
You will support the delivery of industry engagement and communications activities that connect Transport for NSW with a broad range of stakeholders. This role combines stakeholder engagement, communications, research and coordination, requiring someone who can manage multiple priorities while ensuring information is clear, accurate and accessible to diverse audiences.
More specifically you will:
- Coordinate and deliver industry engagement activities focused on technical standards and competency frameworks.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, industry and government partners.
- Organise and facilitate forums, workshops, and industry events.
- Prepare communication materials, presentations, reports and guidance documents to support stakeholder engagement.
- Collect, analyse and report on stakeholder feedback, engagement outcomes and emerging industry trends.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries and provide support relating to technical standards, competency requirements and compliance expectations.
- Undertake research, identify emerging issues and prepare briefs to support informed decision-making and planning.
- Track engagement activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the function.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, customer engagement or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships across industry, government and internal teams.
- Proven ability to interpret technical information, data and complex concepts and present them in a simple, engaging and understandable way.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, infrastructure, transport or a related discipline.
