About the Property & Role
We are seeking a reliable, meticulous, and self-motivated subcontractor to join our team at our prestigious Beach Front Apartments. Our property portfolio consists of five luxury apartments – three 3-bedroom units and two 5-bedroom units – all boasting stunning sea views and prime coastal locations.
This is a subcontractor position, meaning you will operate as your own business entity while working with us. This is an ongoing, long-term cleaning role with consistent work throughout the year. Furthermore, if we are satisfied with the quality and reliability of your work, there will be additional cleaning opportunities – including extra properties, deep-cleaning projects, and peak-season cover – allowing you to grow your income with us.
We provide all cleaning products, equipment, and consumables – you simply bring your skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Sanitisation
- Perform comprehensive deep cleaning of all 3-bedroom and 5-bedroom apartments, including multiple bedrooms, en-suites, family bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and spacious living rooms with sea views.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all surfaces, with particular focus on high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, remote controls, staircase railings, and kitchen appliances.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen fixtures, ovens, hobs, microwaves, dishwashers, and refrigerators.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish all floor types, including tiled and wooden flooring – paying special attention to sand and salt residue brought in from the beach.
- Clean patio doors, balcony railings, and outdoor furniture to ensure guests can enjoy the beachfront views without obstruction.
Linen & Laundry Management
- Strip, wash, dry, fold, and iron all linens and towels (note: larger units require significantly higher volumes of laundry).
- Make beds to a hotel-quality standard across all 3-bedroom and 5-bedroom apartments.
- Ensure all linens are spotless, fresh, and free from stains or damage before re-use.
Restocking & Presentation
- Restock all guest essentials, including toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and kitchen supplies (dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags).
- Ensure the property is staged to a high standard and matches the online listing photos.
- Prepare the apartment to feel fresh, welcoming, and "guest-ready" – with a special emphasis on creating a relaxing coastal atmosphere.
Quality Control & Reporting
- Conduct a final inspection of each apartment to ensure it meets our strict quality standards before guest arrival.
- Take before-and-after photos of each unit to verify completion and document property condition.
- Immediately report any damages, maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electrical, air conditioning), or missing items to the property manager.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels of cleaning supplies and guest consumables.
Subcontractor Requirements & Skills
- Proven Experience: Previous experience in residential, commercial, or hotel cleaning is essential. Experience with large luxury apartments, holiday lets, or Airbnbs is a strong advantage.
- Self-Employed Status: You must be registered as a self-employed individual / subcontractor with the ability to invoice for your services.
- High Standards: Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine pride in your work. You understand that "clean" is not just surface-level – it must be deep, sanitised, and flawless.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of cleaning larger units (up to 5 bedrooms) – including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and carrying heavy laundry loads.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently to meet strict turnaround times between guest check-outs (typically 10:00 AM) and check-ins (typically 2:00 PM). Larger units require excellent time management skills.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for reporting issues, coordinating with management, and liaising with other team members via smartphone or app.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and peak summer/booking seasons – as these are the busiest times for our beachfront apartments.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel between the five apartments, which are located across the beachfront complex.
- Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work as a self-employed subcontractor in [Country].
What We Provide (At No Cost to You)
- All cleaning products – high-quality commercial-grade cleaning agents, disinfectants, glass cleaners, floor care products, etc.
- All cleaning equipment – vacuums, mops, buckets, squeegees, microfiber cloths, gloves, and all other necessary tools.
- All linens and towels – supplied, laundered, and replaced as needed.
- All guest consumables – toiletries, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, coffee/tea provisions.
