About the Role
Revira Care is seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide immediate support for a 16-year-old male participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Seaview Downs, South Adelaide.
This role involves providing Core Supports and Community Access, helping the participant engage safely in the community while promoting independence and achieving NDIS goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to a young participant with ASD.
- Deliver community access and social support.
- Assist with daily living and skill development.
- Implement positive behaviour support strategies where required.
- Build a consistent, trusting, and supportive relationship.
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting participants with Autism (ASD).
- Experience with behaviours of concern and Positive Behaviour Support.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable insured vehicle.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, patient approach.
- Ability to work after school weekdays and weekends.
