About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Grocery All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role working across the shop floor, front register, deli, and back-of-house operations.
You’ll be expected to assist wherever needed across the store, so we’re looking for someone with initiative, strong attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the front register and provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Refill shelves and maintain a clean, well-presented store
- Assist with unpacking, handling and rotating produce and grocery products
- Assist in the deli, including serving customers, slicing and preparing deli products, restocking displays, and maintaining cleanliness
- Follow food handling, hygiene and safety procedures when working in the deli
- Support general store operations and other team members as required
Requirements
- Previous grocery, supermarket or retail experience is essential
- Previous deli or food handling experience is highly regarded
- Comfortable assisting across all areas of the store, including the deli
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, proactive and able to work well as part of a team
- Must be available for early mornings, weekends and rotating shifts
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
