About the role
The Cocoon Clinic Administration Officer is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, confidential front line and administrative service to support the WCHN Cocoon Clinic. Tasks include coordinating patient bookings, facilitating equipment and stationery ordering, booking patient follow up appointments, updating patient demographics and arriving patients into clinic. In addition, the role will include administrative support to the Allied Health & Medical Lead Cocoon Clinic, and other professional staffing members.
Key duties of the role
High quality and responsive customer service is provided to both internal and external clients and patients of the WCHN Cocoon Clinic
Provision of an efficient and coordinated client appointment booking and effective records management system
Administration support is provided which contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the Cocoon Clinic
Actively participate in quality and risk management activities that contribute to ongoing improvement of the service
Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and database systems.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
Knowledge of patient confidentiality, workplace safety, equal opportunity, and relevant public sector requirements.
