About the Role
This is a rewarding part-time temporary opportunity (45.6 hours per fortnight, Wednesday–Friday, for 6 months) based in Wodonga. Our Receptionists in the Medical Practice, play an important role in welcoming patients and supporting them to access medical appointments and services.
You will provide a friendly, professional and culturally sensitive reception service, ensuring patients feel heard, respected and supported, while providing essential administrative support to Doctors, Nurses and visiting health professionals.
This role is classified under the Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) 2022-2026, Grade 1 ($33.62 per hour + superannuation)
Skills & Experience
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated ability in IT software systems including client management systems such as Best Practice
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to take initiative, to follow instructions and demonstrated ability to manage periods of high demand effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work co-operatively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience working with diverse populations and be culturally aware and sensitive at all times.
- Intermediate knowledge in information technology including the use of Microsoft Office and phone systems.
