Job description
Be more than the person behind the scenes. Be the person who helps make the work happen.
At Korn Ferry, we help people and organizations exceed their potential. We work with clients to align strategy, operations, and talent so they can accelerate performance, fuel growth, and create lasting impact.
We are looking for an Executive Assistant & Consulting Coordinator for a 12-month FTC to join our Consulting business in Australia. This is a highly varied, client-facing coordination role that sits close to the action. You will support senior Partners and consulting teams across client delivery, business development, project coordination, document preparation, stakeholder communication, and day-to-day business operations.
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. Yes, you will provide high-quality support to senior leaders, including diary coordination, travel, expenses, meeting preparation, and workflow support. But the broader focus of the role is helping consulting engagements run smoothly, keeping priorities moving, supporting client-facing work, and enabling our Partners and consultants to deliver great outcomes.
You will be a central point of coordination across Partners, consultants, clients, finance, operations, and internal support teams. One day, you may be supporting a proposal or client presentation. The next, you may be coordinating project documentation, updating Salesforce or PSA, managing follow-up actions, helping prepare a polished deliverable, or ensuring the right information is in the right place at the right time.
To succeed, you will need to be organised, proactive, calm under pressure, and confident working with senior stakeholders. You will enjoy solving problems, managing competing priorities, and bringing structure to busy, fast-moving work. You will also bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and the confidence to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things well. Someone who anticipates what is needed, follows through, and helps others perform at their best. You may come from consulting, professional services, project coordination, business administration, sales support, or executive support. What matters most is your ability to build trust, stay close to the detail, and keep people, projects, and priorities moving.
If you are looking for a role that gives you exposure to senior leaders, clients, and meaningful consulting work, this is an opportunity to be more than a support function. It is an opportunity to become a trusted coordination partner to a high-performing consulting team.
