About the role
As the Clinical Nurse - Clinical Informatics, you will play a key role in supporting and optimising digital clinical systems that enable safe, efficient and patient-centred care across the Caboolture, Kilcoy and Woodford (CKW) Directorate. This role combines clinical leadership with digital health expertise, requiring you to apply advanced nursing knowledge to analyse clinical workflows, support system improvements, coordinate change initiatives and provide specialist advice to clinicians using digital health technologies.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing/midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Apply advanced Clinical Informatics and nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to support the delivery of a high standard of consumer/person centred care utilising digital solutions to optimise workflows.
Provide specialist nursing and advanced health care knowledge, skills and ability, specific to Clinical Informatics supported by advanced knowledge of the ieMR, including change request management, downtime procedures and capability to support these activities.
Coordinate change consultation processes for business systems and digital applications in consultation with the Nurse Manager including but not limited to ieMR, Kyra Flow, TrendCare, as well as contribute to associated reporting and training obligations.
Provide subject matter expertise and end user support to build staff knowledge and experience for applications within the Clinical Informatics Portfolio (including ieMR, TrendCare, Kyra Flow).
