Position Description
The Supply & Distribution Consulting Manager is responsible for working directly with clients to assess, design, implement, and monitor warehousing, storage, procurement, and distribution solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
Operating primarily in the field, the role acts as the link between a client's operational requirements and MM Industrial's warehouse infrastructure solutions. The position focuses on understanding client needs and recommending practical storage systems, warehouse layouts, inventory strategies, and material handling solutions before installation works commence.
The role plays a key part in generating and developing projects involving pallet racking, drive-in systems, carton live storage (CLS), picking locations, mezzanines, and other warehouse infrastructure provided by MM Industrial.
The initial job duties the successful candidate will be expected to perform will be the following:
-Creating, determining, implementing and monitoring procurement, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans for clients.
-Preparing and implementing plans for clients to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
-Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock level
-Directing client staff activities and ongoing monitoring of their performance
Skills & Essential Experience
-The successful candidate will hold a current and releveant level of education (Eg. Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
-Experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or inventory management
-Strong understanding of warehouse operations and storage systems
-Excellent communication and client relationship skills
-Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
-Current Driver's Licence.
Desirable Experience
-Experience with pallet racking systems and warehouse design
-Knowledge of inventory management principles
-Minimum of 12 months experience in industrial, logistics, or construction environments.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
