As our Administration Officer, you’ll be the welcoming face and steady support at Shalom Centre. You’ll create a warm, organised and reassuring environment for residents, families, visitors and staff. Your focus will be on reception, customer service and smooth day‑to‑day administration that keeps our home running with ease.
This role suits someone who enjoys meaningful interactions, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in being the reliable, friendly presence people turn to.
You will:
Provide friendly, professional reception support across phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
Greet visitors, guide families and assist residents with kindness and respect.
Manage enquiries, redirect calls and follow up promptly to ensure timely resolution.
Handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and tact.
Keep reception organised — diaries, meetings, communications and general office coordination.
Produce documents, enter data, maintain records and support daily admin tasks.
Assist with admissions, resident documentation, CRM updates and information accuracy.
Support the Residential Manager with general administration as needed.

You’re organised, warm and confident in a busy reception environment. You bring professionalism, empathy and a genuine desire to support older people.
You will have:
Proven experience in office administration or reception
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Competence with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A calm, respectful approach when supporting residents and families
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
