Role Overview
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the Condell Park manufacturing site. This role supports daily operations by ensuring production areas, amenities, offices, and common areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, self-motivation, good communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to workplace safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Housekeeping

Clean and maintain production, office, and amenity areas to a high standard.

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising.

Manage waste, replenish consumables, and maintain cleaning equipment.
Workplace Hygiene & Sanitation

Maintain site hygiene and cleanliness in line with company standards.

Follow cleaning schedules and complete records accurately.

Use cleaning chemicals safely and respond promptly to spills or hygiene issues.
Safety & Compliance

Comply with all WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements.

Wear required PPE and follow safe cleaning and chemical handling practices.

Report hazards, faults, and unsafe conditions promptly.
Teamwork & Communication

Work collaboratively with employees across all departments.

Communicate cleaning, safety, and maintenance concerns in a timely manner.

Support housekeeping activities and follow supervisor instructions.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Previous cleaning experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments (desirable).

Understanding of WHS requirements, PPE, and safe chemical handling practices.

Reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions

Rotating shifts may be required.

Work involves physical tasks, manual handling, and repetitive movements.

Exposure to cleaning chemicals and wet environments with PPE required.
