A Grade Electrician – Solar & Residential Construction
We are seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join our growing team, working across a mix of solar installations and residential construction projects throughout Melbourne.
This is a full-time position suited to an electrician who takes pride in their workmanship, works well within a team, and is looking to develop their skills in the renewable energy sector while continuing to work across quality residential electrical projects.
About the Role
Your work will include:
- Residential solar PV installations
- Inverter, switchboard and associated electrical works
- New homes, renovations and residential construction projects
- Switchboard upgrades and electrical upgrades
- Lighting, power and general electrical installations
- Testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Working alongside apprentices and other trades
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards
Solar Training & SAA Pathway
Previous solar experience is preferred but not essential.
For the right candidate, we are prepared to provide on-the-job solar training and support toward completing the required training and SAA accreditation pathway.

What We’re Looking For
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- Strong residential electrical experience
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Good understanding of electrical regulations and Australian Standards
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently when required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Solar experience or accreditation highly regarded, but not essential
