An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our clinical leadership team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. As the Cardiac Services Nurse Manager, you will be taking on a key management role within our Cardiac ward/unit.
You’ll be working closely with the clinical team to ensure the efficient management of staff and resources. This will be with the overall goal of ensuring excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures and best practice. Reporting into the Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS), you will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff so this role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed.

On offer for this position is a base hourly rate of $68.14 - $73.73 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife NUM 1 - NUM 4*).

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset, with recent leadership and/or management experience. You will also bring the following:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Minimum of 5 years’ current acute nursing experience

Cardiology experience is not essential but highly desirable
-
Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager (highly desirable)

Flexibility to work within a dynamic team across the organisation
-
Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
-
Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management
-
Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources
