Me Wah Restaurant - Launceston Tasmania
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cook to join our team. We are seeking the following qualities;
- 2 Years Cook experience or Commercial Cookery Diploma
- Ability to work well in high pressure environment team environment.
- Responsible for kitchen operations – including preparing, cooking and creations of dishes.
- Cooking techniques – working and operating high pressure gas wok stations,
- Crafting and making – dim sum and dumplings,
- Preparation and cooking of traditional roast (BBQ pork | Duck |Chicken),
- Assistance with presentation and execution of dishes,
- Day to day – cleaning and maintenance of hygiene in kitchen and restaurant; and
- Assistance, training and supervision of junior team members
- Experienced in Chinese Cuisines is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is preferred.
