Location: PLC Perth - Peppermint Grove
Pay Rate: $27.08 per hour + Super
Roster: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (School Terms Only)
Join Gather by Cater Care as a Catering Assistant in the busy kitchen of a prestigious girls' school in Peppermint Grove.
This hands-on hospitality role involves supporting our chefs with the preparation and service of fresh, high-quality meals for boarding students throughout the school term.
As part of a friendly and supportive kitchen team, you'll help provide nutritious meals to up to 140 students each day, making a positive impact on their daily boarding experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, service, and buffet setup/pack down
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service to students and staff
- Operate point-of-sale systems, handle transactions, and stock supplies
- Maintain clean, well-presented kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
- Uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards at all times
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- Previous catering or hospitality experience
- Friendly and confident engaging with customers
- Reliable, approachable, and team-oriented
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
Requirements
All successful candidates will be required to satisfy a Working With Children Check.
