Overview
An in-team specialist for technical claims and Workers Compensation knowledge in the Investigations team. In the Technical Manager position you will use your unique skill set to conduct indepth and thorough reviews applying your knowledge to complex claims matters.
You will undertake actions on claims as part of claim strategies, liaising with Performance Managers and engaging with key stakeholders, the wider claims teams and support areas.
How you'll make an impact

Applying your specialist Workers Compensation technical knowledge to claims of a complex nature

Conducting thorough and in-depth reviews

Promoting best practice claims management

Coordinating and managing reporting and workflow management

Engaging with key stakeholders Worksafe, panel firms and internal claims teams and support areas

Undertaking keys actions on claims as part of claims management strategies
About you
-
Current or previous Technical Manager experience
-
Experience within the Worker’s Compensation industry and in the application of Work Cover legislation
-
Ability to interpret and apply Accident Compensation Act
-
Time Management and organisation skills
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
-
Coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
-
Bachelor of Law Degree and/or Industry Related Qualifications will be ideal
