Experienced gardeners, Northern Beaches
MowGrowMow maintains lawns and gardens from Narrabeen to Palm Beach to St Ives. Residential homes and large strata properties, on regular runs, Monday to Friday.
We are taking on two full time gardeners. Both roles are for someone who can be left on a property on their own. If you have run a mower, a line trimmer and a hedger for a living, this is the one to ring about.
The work
Lawn mowing including edging. Garden maintenance: weeding, mulching and planting. Pruning and hedging. Garden clean ups. Green waste. Some lawn maintenance work, being fertilising, topdressing and aerating.
The day
7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, a 38 hour week. You start and finish at Warriewood, in a company vehicle. Out on the run all day, then back to blow the machines down and put them away. You are outside in the weather every day. Summer on this coast is hot and the work does not stop for it.
What you need
A valid Australian car drivers licence. Safety boots and long trousers. The ability to do physical work in the heat all day.
An advantage, not a requirement: driving a manual, and experience towing a trailer. ChemCert AQF3 is handy if you have it. If you do not, we will get you trained.
What we supply
A company vehicle from Warriewood. All tools, machines and fuel. Hi vis, gloves, eye protection, ear protection and sunscreen.
What we do not do
No weekend work. No two storey gutters. No steep or dangerous ground. Those are our rules and they apply to you as much as to us. If a job is unsafe you stop it, and nobody here has ever been in trouble for stopping.
Pay
$37 to $45 per hour, paid weekly. We pay above the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award 2020. Where you sit in that range depends on your experience and on how you work, and we will talk about it before you start rather than after. Classification confirmed in writing.
Start
There are two start dates. The first role starts Monday 21 September 2026. The second starts Tuesday 13 October 2026. If you have notice to give your current employer, say so and we will put you against the October one.
