About the Role
RAC Arena is seeking Casual Front of House Ushers to join our Event Operations team!
Reporting to the Front of House Senior Supervisors and the operations team leaders our Front of House Ushers are responsible for delivering high-quality customer service while supporting the safe, efficient and orderly operation of front-of-house activities during events.
The pay rate for this position is $39.07 per hour (including casual loading), VenuesWest General Agreement Level 2. Hours of work will vary depending on event requirements, however outside normal work hours, weekend work and overnight work will be an expectation for some shifts.
Whilst the position will be based at RAC Arena in Perth, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities. In this role, you will
- Manage the movement of patron entry, exit and throughout the venue in a safe, orderly and efficient manner.
- Attend a pre-event briefings delivery by the FOH Supervisor or Team Leader, ensuring a clear understanding of event details and requirements to support effective FOH operations.
- Apply event information and procedures to support the smooth running of events and respond accurately to patron enquiries.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues promptly to the relevant Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Provide assistance to patrons, including checking tickets, answering enquiries, providing information, and directing patrons to seating and venue facilities, taking a proactive approach to customer service.
- Identify and support patrons with additional needs, ensuring appropriate assistance is provided throughout the event.
- Support access control requirements, including preventing unauthorised entry to events without valid tickets or accreditation.
